Often the men or their families who call us do not realize that we are not a licensed drug rehabilitation facility, and we explain that we are a residential recovery center accepting residents who have already completed treatment at a drug rehab facility or those who have relapse history.

With a practical, supportive approach

Our president and founder, Mark Houston, has extensive experience working in drug rehabilitation centers and has applied that background in creating the unique recovery program at Mark Houston Recovery. Situated in the secluded hills near Austin, Texas, our residential center is open to men who have a goal of permanent sobriety following treatment at drug rehab facilities and/or relapse occurrences. We have highly-trained, compassionate staff members who are themselves in recovery, providing an overall atmosphere of respect, support and encouragement. Our residents appreciate that we are teaching-and modeling workable methods and philosophies that we have personally experienced and mastered.
