Mobilizing Force Against Drug Addiction-- The DEA's MET

When you want to tackle a powerful force like drug trafficking you need the help of an equally powerful force like the Drug Enforcement Agency. The DEA's Mobile Enforcement Team (MET) has helped cities like Arlington fight this devastating war. The MET which has been in action for many years is designed as a support service to help state and local police departments battle violent crime and drug trafficking in their communities. Mark Houston Recovery can help you battle your drug addiction whether or not you've been in and out drug rehab centers or continuing your efforts in drug relapse prevention.  We can come to your aid.

Fighting Crime Through Intelligence

The Mobile Enforcement Team is not a super police force. The DEA recognized the need for smart policing when developing this program so its members are not homicide detectives. The MET's main mission is to "cultivate drug intelligence and investigations against violent offenders, and then share that information with state and local authorities to further their homicide cases and prosecutions." Through fast action a call for help brings out a MET team member who  works with local and state authorities to help remove  violent drug offenders from the community through surveillance, intelligence, investigations and indictments. Mark Houston Recovery will be here when you call for help. As the saying goes, knowledge is power, ad we'll get you on the path to recovery through our knowledge, caring and dedication to you getting better.

Fighting Crime Through Intelligence

In Arlington, police Chief David Kunkell requested DEA assistance in tackling the "principal members of a very violent methamphetamine organization." Taking on the call the MET member was deployed in Arlington and through  their coordinated efforts seven individual were arrested and around  $1 million worth of methamphetamine, 4 guns, 7 automobiles, and $114,000 in cash was seized. When you're in need of assistance with drug relapse prevention or drug addiction we'll coordinate our efforts with you and your loved ones to produce results that hopefully get you on the road to recovery.

About Arlington

With a complicated history that evolved over the last 150 years this former frontier outpost once known for its mineral waters is today a thriving metropolis with three colleges and several major industries including the Arlington General Motors Assembly Plant. Gone is the place to be for horse racing and gambling in its early years, replaced with a great location for major league baseball, amusement parks, technology research and commerce in general. As America's largest "mid-city" it truly stands apart from the other cities that share its name.
